trivago decided to opt for EIZO monitors back in 2016. After an initial onsite presentation of the FlexScan EV2450 and EV2750 models by the responsible EIZO Key Account Manager, further inhouse tests were carried out. Both monitors impressed trivago with their outstanding quality and wide range of features. “Processing and communication with EIZO and the IT distributor also went very smoothly,” says Nils Brauckmann from IT Purchasing and Procurement at trivago.

The old headquarters of the company founded in Dusseldorf in 2005, which has since become a rapidly growing firm, very soon became too cramped. It needed space for more employees, who are recruited from over 55 nations across the world. That is why it chose to construct a new, larger, more modern company headquarters in the MedienHafen in Dusseldorf, now known as the trivago Campus. The first construction phase was completed mid-2018. A drop-shaped, six-storey building with 26,000 square meters of floor space for up to 2100 employees was created.
trivago has since ordered more EV2450 (1550 units) and EV2750 (450 units) models for the new workstations at its Campus. “Almost all of our workstations are now equipped with EIZO monitors. This includes stationary desks for our employees, as well as ‘flexi desks’. The latter can be used universally if one of our workers would like a ‘change in scenery’ every once in a while,” explains Nils Brauckmann, adding: “Each desk features two EV2450 models. An EV2750 model is also available for special requirements. This model can be used to monitor data, for example.”
