Around your product
Test the properties and parametres of your monitor quickly and easily with software developed in-house at EIZO.
To keep your monitor looking like new at all times and to prolong the service life of your device, we recommend cleaning it regularly. Clean the casing and LCD surface as described below:
IMPORTANT: Never use thinner, benzene, alcohol (ethanol, methanol or isopropyl alcohol), scouring agents or other strong solvents as these may damage the casing and the LCD display.
Casing
Remove marks by wiping the casing with a soft cloth, which you have previously moistened with a mild cleaning agent. Never spray wax or cleaning agents directly on to the casing. (The manual contains exact details.)
LCD display
Where necessary, the monitor surface may be cleaned using a soft cloth (for example a cotton cloth or glasses cloth). Stubborn marks can generally be removed by wetting the cloth with a bit of water to increase the cleaning strength.
EcoView Automatic is turned on by briefly pressing a button. In the case of strong lighting, the image brightness is increased, while it is reduced in the case of weak lighting. This results in the highest levels of ergonomic comfort at the workstation thanks to the most constant contrast possible, which incidentally saves both money and the environment.
Yes, if you select "Media2" as the media type during manual registration, you can display H.265 video on the EIZO IP decoding products.
Compatible models: DX0212-IP, FDF2712W-IP, FDF2312W-IP
The following conditions must be met:
Procedure
Set H.265 for the camera stream in advance.
If the camera is already registered with the "ONVIF" protocol, follow the steps below to change the media type.
Check whether the video from the camera is displayed on the IP decoder.
As of Ver.6.1, you can check the actual compression format of the received stream by clicking on "Basic information display" under "Troubleshooting" > "Log display".
For TOA cameras
As an exception, you can also display H.265 videos on an IP decoder (Ver. 5.x, Ver. 6.x) with a camera that only corresponds to ONVIF profile S.
Set H.265 for the camera stream in advance and register the camera with the "ONVIF" protocol. For Ver.6.1 or higher, select "Media1" as the media type.
No, you do not need a driver. The monitors are identified via the signaling line and then installed as a standard or plug & play monitor.
We cannot make a direct recommendation. The output signal should be digital and should support the maximum resolution of the monitor.
Digital signal encryption system as copy protection for digital contents, for example for videos, music, etc. The transmission of digital contents is protected as the contents are encrypted on the transmitter's side, sent via a DVI output and once again decrypted on the recipient's side. Digital contents may not be reproduced if both the transmitter and recipient device do not support HDCP.
It measures the ambient light and automatically adjusts the brightness of the monitor to ensure that the contrast is as stable as possible. The image brightness is increased in a bright environment and it is reduced in the dark. It is also possible to control the brightness manually.
Screens have millions of pixels, which each have a surface area of less than a hundredth of a square millimeter. These elements may have defects, which are expressed by them being constantly lit or unlit. Visibility is fundamentally dependent on the surrounding area. For example, lit elements are almost invisible in a bright environment. Each LCD screen is unique in terms of pixel errors.
To give you a clear statement about what frequency of pixel errors EIZO deems tolerable, EIZO screen models are tested according to internationally recognized standards. On average the actual levels are in fact far below the tolerances across all of the devices. LCD modules that do not meet these requirements are not used at EIZO. Depending on the model, EIZO monitors have a zero pixel error guarantee for completely illuminated sub-pixels (partial pixels ISO 9241-307). Valid: six months from the purchase date.

Warranty and Repair
Office hours are Monday-Friday from 08:00 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.
For repairs outside the warranty, you will receive a cost estimate without delay.
EIZO provides up to a five-year warranty, although some devices have a different warranty period. You can find out the exact warranty periods for each product either in the warranty terms and conditions above, in the datasheet, or on the EIZO international website. The long warranty periods are made possible by a highly developed manufacturing process based on a simple principle of success: sophisticated and innovative monitor technology, manufactured from high-end materials. For you, the 5-year warranty means a high level of investment security and savings on follow-up costs (total cost of ownership), which would be incurred without warranty service, for example, for maintenance and repairs.
