TCO Certified Generation 10
EIZO announces TCO Certified Generation 10 sustainability certification for nine monitors in the FlexScan series. These models are among the first monitors in the world to be certified to the new and stringent criteria. The tenth generation of TCO certification was published on December 4, 2024.
TCO Certified was launched by the Swedish organization TCO Development and is a global sustainability certification for IT products. It is based on a comprehensive system of regularly updated criteria that take into account aspects such as socially responsible production and a high level of environmental awareness. It is characterized by independent verification and a structured system for continuous improvement to bring about real and lasting change.
Since the introduction of TCO Certified in 1992, EIZO has offered a range of certified products that meet the necessary criteria, which have evolved and become more stringent over the years. EIZO's FlexScan series has been certified in accordance with the latest TCO generation to date. EIZO intends to maintain TCO Certified certification for future new products. The new TCO Certified Generation 10 includes adapted criteria covering both environmental and social responsibility in the supply chain and throughout the product life cycle.
Firmly anchored in EIZO's corporate philosophy is the aspiration to enrich people's professional and personal lives by developing image reproduction solutions with advanced technologies. To this end, EIZO strives to reduce its environmental impact for a sustainable society. EIZO uses TCO Certified to strictly control the environmental and social risks associated with the manufacture and sale of monitors.
